There are pros and cons to both in-person and online learning, but I believe in the end the same results can be achieved either way- it just depends on the learning styles of each student. In my opinion, if you decide that online learning is for you, the benefits outweigh the costs greatly. The number one thing I see get in people's way of progress is simply attendance. Going into a physical location once a week can not only be a challenge to commit to, but a real headache in re-scheduling when you have to take both the student and teacher's schedules into consideration. Having lessons online and out of the comfort of your own home opens up a world of possibilities where lessons can be easily moved and eliminates commute times completely. The flexibility & convenience of online lessons is unparalleled.

When learning online, there are really only 2 lesson formats- live instruction via video conferencing and pre-recorded instructional videos. I offer live instruction where as YouTube has pre-recored videos. There is a large selection of pre-recorded videos out there, and while I certainly think some of them are very good, I believe live instruction is far superior. Working with a teacher allows you to ask questions, have things tailored to your specific learning style, keeps you accountable, and lets someone else strategically plan your overall progress. Pre-recorded videos can help you learn a song or two, but there is no plan for overall progress in learning the guitar or music. It all comes down to how serious you are. YouTube learning is ideal for casual players who just want to play every now and then while live instruction is much more like going to see a therapist or personal trainer. The priority is self-betterment and growth with the intention of getting results as soon as possible.

Lessons are either 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length & held once a week at a set time & day agreed upon by both the student & teacher. In the event that you cannot attend your regularly scheduled lesson, you will be eligible for a make-up lesson as long as your cancellation is 24+ hours prior to the missed lesson.

Lessons are purchased one month at a time, with tuition due on the 1st of every month or before the 1st lesson of said month via Venmo. Upon request, other methods of payment will be considered. There are currently 3 packages available:

Package 1: 30 Minute lessons | $180 per month (4 weeks) / $225 per month (5 weeks)

Package 2: 45 Minute lessons | $270 per month (4 weeks) / $337.50 per month (5 weeks)

Package 3: 60 Minute lessons | $360 per month (4 weeks) / $450 per month (5 weeks)

My video conferencing application of choice is Zoom and I will provide you with a meeting link specifically designated for our lessons. Additionally, I use Google Docs for tracking assignments & sharing lesson materials.
